    The present invention relates to a bed mattress (1) for use on a mattress or the like. The bed mattress comprises two large surfaces (3) and an edge surface (2) which connects the large surfaces. The bed mattress is provided with two zipper sides (4) along a longitudinal side of the edge surface (2). The zipper side of a first bed mattress fits together with the zipper side of a second bed mattress, so that they can be connected and create a continuous large surface (3) which comprises the two bed mattresses.     For this purpose, the bed mattress according to the invention is provided with a zipper system which makes the bed mattress usable for both single beds and double beds. In addition to this, the zipper system provides an opportunity to put together two mattress pads, one over the other, to create a simple double mattress mattress in a stable way.
    The invention will now be described with reference to the non-limiting embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a perspective view of two bed mattresses 11 according to the invention with dry-sized details at the corner. All bed mattresses according to the invention are provided with a separable zipper on one of the sides. This zipper is in addition to the zipper that closes the cover and will remain open until the connection according to the invention is used.
    Due to the thickness of the bed mattress 1, there is a narrow edge surface 2 that runs completely around each bed mattress. The edge surface 2 connects the two large surfaces 3 of the mattress. Due to the size of this edge surface 2, it is possible to mount two longitudinal zipper sides 4 thereon.
    The bed mattress 1 according to the invention is thus provided with two parallel zipper sides 4, i.e. an open side and a cooperating side on one of the longitudinal edge surfaces. The zipper sides are arranged in such a way that when a bed mattress 1 is adjacent to another bed mattress with the edge surfaces 2 and with the zipper sides 4 facing each other, the zipper sides 4 of the two adjacent bed mattresses fit together and create a continuous zipper connection between the two mattresses. In this way, the paired double mattress will form a continuous surface on a double bed.
    Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing how the mattresses are placed before they are connected to each other according to the invention. When two mattresses are connected to each other, one mattress is upside down in relation to the other. In order to be able to distinguish the two sides of a bed mattress according to the invention, it is advantageous to provide the bed mattresses with an identification mark on one of the sides. The identification mark indicates the direction of installation of the zipper side. Such a recognition token can be an embroidered mark in the fabric or the like. When two mattress pads lie next to each other and are ready to be assembled, the recognition mark or marking is only visible on one of the mattresses while on the other mattress it is on the downward-facing surface.
    F ig. 3 illustrates two composite mattresses with a detail at the end of the connection. The zipper sides of the two bed mattresses thus fit together.
    Fig. 4 shows an alternative use of the bed mattress according to the invention. If the mattresses are only assembled on the upper side, the zipper can act as a joint, which facilitates the folding of the composite bed mattress. If the bed mattresses are put together on both the upper and the lower sides, it leads to the resulting bed mattress becoming cohesive and functioning as a cohesive bed mattress.
    By assembling two individual bed mattresses according to the invention on one side and folding one over the other with the zipper as a joint, it is conceivable that it is used as a thin single mattress or a particularly thick bed mattress. This can be advantageous in detail as there are limited storage options, but a need to have a flexible number of the bed

A bed mattress according to claim 1, wherein the zipper side of a first bed mattress matches the zipper side of a second bed mattress so that they can be connected to form a continuous large area comprising the two bed mattresses. .
